Scaling Up Physical Activity SIG News
View AllMissed our inaugural satellite meeting?
On 18th November 2021, the SUPA SIG saw over 40 attendees participate in our 3-hour online meeting to discuss, debate and learn about the science and practice of scaling up physical activity in Asia-Pacific. We heard academics, practitioners and policymakers debate whether successful scale-up of physical activity interventions was simply a matter of luck. We also had three speakers present two impressive examples of school-based scale-up in China and Australia. The meeting closed with crucial feedback from our members on what they want from the SIG moving forward.
