Prepare for your Asia-Pacific Society for Physical Activity (ASPA) Conference presentation by joining this one-hour webinar to build and improve your presentation skills from science communication expert Dr. Michael Wheeler.
This webinar is open to ASPA and non-ASPA members, however the recording will only be available to ASPA members.
About the speaker:
Michael Wheeler is an Executive Dean Health Research Fellow within the Baker-Deakin Department of Lifestyle and Diabetes at Deakin University. His research focuses on understanding how physical activity and sedentary behaviour affect cardiovascular, cognitive, and metabolic function. Michael is also passionate about science communication and lectures on this topic at The University of Melbourne. He is the co-founder and co-host of the “Let’s Talk Scicomm” podcast along with A/Prof Jen Martin from The University of Melbourne. The podcast aims to share insights on how to effectively communicate science to a variety of audiences.
