With its grand architecture, sandstone pillars and marble staircases, Newcastle City Hall definitely makes an impression.

Opened in 1929, this stunning heritage-listed building is one of Newcastleโ€™s most prestigious and unique venues. Having served as the city hall for the Council of the City of Newcastle between 1929 and 1977, it now plays host to a vast array of functions, including civic receptions, community gatherings, weddings, national and international conferences, trade shows and expos, corporate meetings, product launches and social events.

With seven accessible function rooms, over 2000 accommodation rooms within a leisurely 10-minute stroll, and being only 25 minutes from Newcastle Airport and near a range of public transport options, Newcastle City Hall is well-positioned to host the 5th Asia-Pacific Society for Physical Activity conference.
